Falling in Love with Life

A blog about my inner growth on this wondrous journey called life

Loving our Bodies

I have judged my body my entire life. I saw it with the eyes of society and deemed myself unworthy. My thighs were too big. My butt was too big. My stomach wasn't flat enough. I have cellulite and stretch marks and the belly pooch that comes after having kids. I...

Holding Sacred Space

I have always been a person who denies the more unpleasant feelings in my being. I am comfortable with joy, happiness, peace, and love. I've always tried my best to push any other emotions away. I didn't like how they felt. Sadness leaves a heaviness and sharp pain in...

Embracing Our True Selves

In this world, so many of us are surrounded by a litany of judgments. Everyone has an opinion that they try to impose on others. We see it everywhere we go. We hear it within our own families and communities. Because we are aware of this to different degrees, we let...

The Wisdom of the Young

Hello

I’m Shenisse

I know how unsettling it can feel to go to a stranger for healing services. I’ve experienced this throughout different times in my life, so I know firsthand how intimidating it can be.

I started my blog as a way of allowing myself to be vulnerable and it turned into a cathartic form of self-healing. When I discovered that I wanted to help others heal themselves, I realized I could utilize my blog to help people get to know me and build a bridge of trust.

If you want to become acquainted with who I am, take a look at my blog and if you feel an innate calling to work with me or have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
